Choosing a House in Selly Oak

The best way to go about choosing a house is to find a group of people that you would like to live with and then look for a house for that number. Most importantly, DON'T RUSH. Despite what everybody will tell you, there are plenty of houses in Selly Oak and you will not struggle to find one, whenever you start looking.

Never feel pressured into committing to a house because you think you won't find anything else. Look around, find a house that you are happy with and then view it a couple of times before you sign a contract.

If a house looks shabby, it probably is. Ask the current tenants to tell you about the house. A good landlord won't mind you asking to speak to them without the landlord there to get a good and accurate description of the house and any problems.

If there is anything with the house you are not happy about, or if you would like something added or changed to make it into the ideal house for you, ask before you sign the contract and get the landlord to include it as a clause of the contract.

We are more than happy to put you in touch with our current tenants if you would like some more information about any of our houses. Please get in touch with us and we will arrange something.
